Apple Buckwheat Cereal

Raw, Vegan, Vegetarian, Breakfast

 

In a food processor blend until smooth the following ingredients.

1 apple (diced & seeded)
2/3 c. maple syrup
1 t. cinnamon (ground)
1 t. sea salt

Then add
2 c. raw/white buckwheat (that has been soaked 1+ hours)

Blend until buckwheat has been partially ground. It will look like soupy oatmeal.

For Raw version:
Spread on teflex dehydrator sheets (on dehydrator tray) and dehydrate until dry, flipping and removing the teflex sheet 1/2 way through. Crumble into cracker or cereal size and store in an air-tight container.

Oven version:
If you don't have a dehydrator, spread the batter on parchment paper and cook in oven at lowest setting until dry. Crumble into cracker or cereal size and store in an air-tight container.
